UF Alert text messages will appear from either short text numbers 23177 or 63079. Adding these numbers to your cell phone’s contact list under the name “ UF Alert ” will assist in identifying UF text messages. Instructions on how to subscribe, update, or opt-out of.
The UF Alert system is used to distribute both, ‘timely warnings’ and ’emergency notifications.’ In general: ‘Timely warnings’ are sent for incidents that have already occurred but represent a serious or continuing threat. Timely Warnings are primarily distributed through email, social media and push notifications on the Gator Safe app only, UFIT staff will perform maintenance for myUFL and ONE. UF beginning on Wednesday, January 20 at 10:00 PM.myUFL is used as a portal for HR, FI, and Student applications.ONE. UF is used as the one-stop shop for student self-service.. myUFL and ONE. UF will be unavailable during the maintenance window. The maintenance is expected to be completed by Thursday, January 21.
